Tutu Tales

Tutu Tales is a preschool program designed to introduce young students to the love of dance and encourage a love of reading at the same time.  The program was created to be a fun way to bring new students into the studio without a long-term commitment from families who are uncertain that dance will be an appropriate activity for their children.

Each 30 - 45 minute session is based on a children's book.  Class begins with story time and progresses into movement activities.  Each lesson plan focuses on a specific movement concept that helps prepare children for a more formal dance education at a later time.  Activities are fun, easy to lead, and a joy to share with students.

With each lesson, you receive the following tools:

  • Tutu Tales Program Overview with suggestions for scheduling, pricing, and marketing the program
  • Sign-in Sheet for use with the session
  • Complete, easy-to-follow lesson plan
  • Some Tutu Tales Lesson Plans include an original coloring sheet to share with students and/or Bonus Activities which can turn the lesson into a Mini-Dance Camp!  (See descriptions of each lesson on the Purchase page.)

Tutu Tales lessons are perfect for all children ages 2-5 ensuring that everyone will have "tu-tu" much fun!
